Description
A good honest Gold Flash. It's had lots of bits I've done to it recently so here goes.
Rebuilt Mag. New primary chain. New rear Shoes. New battery. New Goldie silencer.
Just prior to my purchase she had Powder coated frame and re painted Mudguards. Oil tank and Tool box. Handlebars & levers. Rear brake cable. Clutch springs. Clutch plates. Clutch rollers. Clutch pushrod. Swinging arm bushes and spindle. Front brake cable. Fork top nuts. Fork rebuild. Rear chain. Dynamo chain. Wheel bearings. Rear hub collar & cover. Oil feed pipes and several other bits I'm sure.
The bike rides Beautifully with no smoking or nasty noises. The starting is very good now that it's got the rebuilt mag and carb set up. The brakes are pretty good for a beezer. Paintwork isn't bad but I was going to re paint as I purchased a new tank that has what I consider to be a better gold which I was going to match on the mudguards. Oil tank and Tool box. The new tank is for sale at an extra £300 if you want it. There are a few bits and pieces including a Haynes manual. The engine is a CA10 RR High comp motor but this has had an iron head and lower comp pistons fitted. Has good useable power so I'm assuming there will be a slightly sportier cam fitted. I have a 1976 green log book and the engine was already fitted at this time. Rims aren't bad. but could do with new ones in a few years even though they look great. Just depends how fussy you want to be. There are both side and centre stands fitted
If you are looking for a good rideable classic you won't go far wrong with this. Reluctant sale due to wonky hip.
