1980 Laverda 1200TS
Extensively refurbished over winter period. I bought this machine as a project to keep me busy in the winter. So now it is for sale.
Previously registered in Spain (hot = no corrosion) the bike is on the NOVA system as taxes all paid/exempt. Dating certificate present showing 1980 as year of manufacture. So easy to register. I will help you fill out V55 to register the machine so you will be the first UK registered owner.

The machine has been gone through mechanically from front to rear. starts on the button. new brake and clutch master cylinder service kits fitted. new braided front brake hosed fitted. oil cooler hoses. Fork oil changed. Oil filter cleaned etc. rear shocks Marzocchi Piggy back rear shocks serviced and overhauled. carbs ultrasonically cleaned and refurbished. correctly balanced. Seat recovered. new stainless petrol cap. new mirrors. New Avon tyres. ores Honed and new rings fitted. valve stem oil seals replaced and valves re lapped. valve clearances checked/adjusted.
Everything functions as it should. Will pass MOT no problem.
Professionally repainted. resplendent in the metallic green. Tank media blasted back to bare metal.
Mileage on clocks is showing 5290mls and clocks are in MPH not KM. The original clocks were smashed and showed 9522km but this can not realistically be taken as the actual mileage/KM covered. Replacement MPH clocks were sourced and set to the equivalent in Miles.
The bike starts on the button and runs well with no smoke. Drive chain and sprockets are very good. Still fitted with original Lafranconi silencers with good chrome. right silencer has small dent/scuff but not that noticeable as it is underneath. Makes a nice sound. not too loud like many after market copy Jota pipes.
This is a NICE usable classic and not a show machine. not one for the purist! just a nice bike.
