Description
1972 Norton Commando 750 Road Racer
I bought this bike from an estate. It has a clear title, signed off by the children who had power of attorney. The motor turns over and seems to have good compression, but I have only rolled it slightly, as I am not trying to start it. The title matches the motor number #203368, but I do not see any numbers on the frame.
The gas tank appears to have had little to no fuel in it. The tank and fenders are fiberglass, while the side covers are steel. There is at least one chipped cooling fin that I noticed, as well as a crack in the cover over the headlight. Additionally, the covers over the valves are missing.
This bike has a lot of potential. One of the covers has the name Hyde—I was told this is the name of a person who made aftermarket parts for Nortons. There is some rust on the forks and other parts, but nothing severe.
I am happy to provide more pictures and answer any questions. This bike is for local pickup only, but I will work with the buyer to arrange shipping at the buyer's expense.
