Here is a fantastic opportunity to own a very very original unrestored Velocette Venom.

The bike is in “as found” condition. It starts and runs well and sounds OK. Not smoking. I have ridden it (off public roads) and the gearbox and clutch are OK too. I would have thought it is ripe for restoration but these days some prefer to keep in this unrestored state and simply recommission ready for the road.

There is a V5C doc and an old green log book. I have checked with factory records and can confirm that engine number VM 5007 and frame number RS16234 are the factory matching originals. The registration number is also original, 335 RKM reclaimed from the buff log book and now on V5C.

The bike is registered for Historic Class (free) road tax and is exempt from MOT testing.

Cosmetically the entire bike is in poor condition.
Paintwork is all old and a generally scruffy. All chrome is poor especially the rims. Tyres are very old. Seat is quite decent. Good side-stand and centre stands. There is no fin damage on the engine.
Chronometric speedo is working and has only 31,608 recorded miles, I have nothing to back up this mileage but it looks plausible!
