Velocette LE 200, in Grey

It is with great sadness that I have to advertise my 1961 Velocette Le 200 mk 3.
I am downsizing property wise and sadly some of my bikes cannot come with me.
This great bike was first made by Velocette in May 1961 in Hall Green Birmingham, and sold on the 5th of that month to the Duplex Motor and Cycle company, Darlington. The gentleman that purchased it lived in Darlington and then my Father in law bought it from him in the early 80s, referbing it before leaving it in his living room on display until he passed 3 years ago. It came to me, sadly my Mother in law could not find the V5 etc., and so I had it reregistered through the LE Club and the dvla, who were great, and knew about the bike. Sadly lost the original number, but I do have the photo copy of the original tax register and the old plates as well as 4/5 old tax discs.
Since being with me, Vinny (that's what we call the bike) has been looked after well with new hoses, fluids, new brake light switch, and a mini mag electronic points conversion which makes him ultra reliable. I also have a brand new hard to find set of coils that will go with him should you want to return it to standard and of course a workshop manual. I have taken part in two out of three classic runs locally run by the rotary club each year, and are 93 miles long each, so shows you his reliability.
This is your opportunity to get a excellent sorted Velocette Le 200, matching frame and engine numbers from the factory, and is surely one of the best on here. Obviously there are one or two stone chips etc. due to use, just being honest. I also have a lovely 1958 Matchless G9 that is for sale too.
It is collection only, with payment before it leaves me, I could work with a third party collector if that helps, but Payment in full cleared first.
