VELOCETTE LE MK3 1964 200cc CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE EX POLICE SPARES, REPAIR PROJECT

Velocette LE Mk3 1964 200cc classic motorcycle. Ex police bike spares or repair project.
4 speed kick start model. Ex Somerset police machine sold by Andersons motorcycle dealer in Bridgewater in Jan 1964.
The bike was painted Black which the police had specified. Has new V5C in my name, 5 previous owners and transferable reg number.
The frame and engine numbers are correct on the V5 and the vin plate is in the tool box lid. Has 1 key, old log books, some old mot's, it's first old Green card type book, service manual, spare parts manual, fly-screen, indicators, daytime lights fitted, metal side paniers with nice inner linings, single seat, passenger seat, mirrors, tyre pump and battery. All electrics work fine. Has stainless steel wheel rims with very good tyres. Also has Mini mag ignition system fitted which was £290. Includes timing tools, Delorto carburetor up grade. Also has paper oil filter conversion filter fitted.
The bike still looks in nice condition and the chrome and paintwork is very presentable. The bike kicks over and starts up but the carb could do with a clean out. Engine is slightly noisy so could do with some attention now as it has been in dry storage for a few years.
I have owned the bike for a couple of years but through health reasons now it is up for sale as an easy project.
This is a lovely little lightweight British bike.
