BSA 650 STAR

Hi here we have a beautiful 1964 BSA 650 Star this bike was dispatched from Birmingham to Cairo, Egypt, on the 1st September 1964 and was used by the military, I have an abstract from the works record stating this. It was shipped back to the UK in 1998 where it underwent a total restoration, engine rebuild, frame powder coated, new wheels and spokes, full rewiring, new exhaust system, which, as you can see from the pictures have not 'blued' (this tells you how well it runs!) and painted in the colour it is today, at a cost of £4500, I have the bills to prove this and a video of the rebuild.

The bike sounds lovely, runs really smoothly and is very responsive, it will tick over till it runs out of petrol! This bike rides absolutely superbly.

It still has its matching frame and engine numbers from 1964.

Lots of history and workshop manual, V5 and key present. This is a bike that anyone would be proud to own.
