1948 Indian Chief, color Red

1948 indian chief motorcycle. Numbers matching. Completed total restoration 2017. This is a museum quality bike that shows, starts, runs and rides perfectly. Rebuild included new top end from Kiwi indian. I replaced the original 6 volt generator with a more reliable(current era) but still 6 volt generator. The original heads and generator come with the bike. The 3 speed transmission, carburetor, oil pump, distributor, front and rear ends, etc., have been rebuilt with top quality parts. The paint work and bright work is amazing. New leather all around. The front windshield is a cy-fab windshield but not indian specific. This bike is set up as it was from the factory. This is a right side tank shifter bike. The throttle is on the left with a forward advance. The clutch is a left side foot clutch. The spark advance is right sided with forward advance. No expenses were spared on this bike. It is listed Locally and in multiple sites and may be removed prematurely. Read Less
