1973 Kawasaki Z1, colour rootbeer/tangerine

Here is a beautifully restored 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900. Engine and frame are "correct" match. This motorcycle is a "frame and cases up" restoration. Everything has been gone through down to the re-plated original hardware used. The cylinders are re-bored to 1st oversize with new pistons and rings, the head has been rebuilt, the transmission inspected and shimmed, new clutch plates, case screws, ignition advancer, points, condensers, etc... The original carbs have been rebuilt including new fuel joints between the carbs. The frame and all black parts (except engine) have been powdercoated to original appearance. The bright aluminum wet sanded and polished for a even finish. New rootbeer and tangerine paint done in original design. Rebuilt original speedometer and tachometer installed and reset to "0" miles. It has about 50 miles on it since then. The wire harness and handlebar controls are restored originals (new connectors & original type conduit). so everything works as it should. It has the complete chain oiling system (including the pump). It has all new cables, tires, chain, sprockets, airbox, complete exhaust system, spokes, rims, etc. All work was done by an experienced restorer with over 100 complete restorations done. This bike starts & runs great and would be a great addition to any collection.

Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up costs and arrangements. I can store the bike for up to 3 weeks after auction end to allow buyer time to do that. If the motorcycle needs to be crated for shipment, I am able to do that for a $200 charge (crate & labor) and will load into a truck with a forklift. If you need other arrangements, they must be agreed to before auction end.
