Description
For your consideration is this very nice 1980 Kawasaki Z1R in excellent condition that is being sold in a NO RESERVE auction! The bike is a low mileage survivor, running, numbers matching, and complete. There are not many bikes remaining in this condition, I would guess most of them are either in museums or stored in private collections around the world. For reference, I've taken the maximum number of photos allowed on iQQmoto which is 24 pictures, however I have also taken a walk-around video of the bike running outside of my home and have posted it to YouTube for prospective bidders to reference (see link below). However if you would like to see more photos of anything I may have missed, please email me and I'll get you additional information. Good luck in the auction!!!
Documented Restoration: This bike was listed on iQQmoto a few years ago from the shop in Miami, FL that completed the restoration, you can find additional information on this bike by reading the following articles. 1) https://www.bike-urious.com/back-in-black-1980-kawasaki-z1r/2) https://raresportbikesforsale.com/featured-listing-rare-black-1980-kawasaki-z1r/

Running Condition - As the motorcycle has been stored the past 3 years, it will need some attention mainly servicing the carb in order to get the bike to run properly, however I have ridden the motorcycle in my neighborhood this past weekend before posting this auction. The bike starts, runs, shifts, etc. and there are no mechanical issues that I'm aware of besides requiring routine service before you can take it out on the road.
Payment & Shipping - Payment shall be made by the buyer within 3 days of the auction close, however I'm very flexible on the timing of pickup and will allow up to 90 days for pickup or to arrange a shipper to transport the bike. International bidders are welcome to bid in the auction, please see my feedback as I've worked with many overseas buyers purchase vintage motorcycles.
Auction Notes - This will be a 7 day No Reserve auction and I encourage any bidders to contact me after placing a bid stating their intentions to bid and purchase, as I do not want to relist the motorcycle from buyers that do not complete the sale. Please only place a bid that you are willing to pay! The motorcycle is available for local inspection and is encouraged for anyone that can see the bike in person before placing a bid. Thank you!
The bike holds a clean title in my name, it also has current registration and insurance in my name, so all of the proper paperwork is in-hand to sell the bike and transfer to the new owner.
