1980 Kawasaki z1

Up for sale is a beautiful 1980 z1r with less than 6k miles.
This bike has underwent a mechanical restoration and cosmetic refresh. The body work is all original paint. I will update this listing soon with more details and photos. I bought this motorcycle from the original owner two years ago and did a extensive mechanical restoration and cosmetic refresh. Everything has been gone through and replaced or refinished. Everything with any surface rust or corrosion has been attended to. Original paint on the body work polished out beautifully. The gauges were restored by the late Bob Harrington at Z resto. Both master cylinders had to be sleeved by KARPS in California due to pitting. All Chrome redone by Speed Sport Chrome in Houston Including the Kereker exhaust. I ultrasonic cleaned, rebuilt and synced the carburetors.
The bike has all new rubbers, tires, chain, cables, clutch, fork seals, etc.
The originally owner could not find the title so I had to do a BONDED title. Title is a clean Texas BONDED title in my name. I'm sure there is much I'm forgetting please watch the videos for more details, thanks.
The bike comes with both original keys, center stand, manual bag and original exhaust ( in rough condition a lot of surface rust ).
