Here is a beautifully restored 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900. This motorcycle is a "frame and cases up" restoration. Everything has been gone through down to the re-plated original hardware used. The cylinders are re-bored to 1st oversize with new pistons and rings, the head has been rebuilt, the transmission inspected and shimmed, new clutch plates, case screws, ignition advancer, points, condensers, etc... The original carbs have been rebuilt including new fuel joints between the carbs. The frame and all black parts (except engine) have been powder coated to original appearance. The bright aluminum wet sanded and polished for a even finish. New root beer and tangerine paint done in original design, Japan body set. Rebuilt original speedometer and tachometer installed and reset to "0" miles. It has 47 miles on it since then from test ride. The wire harness and handlebar controls are restored originals (new connectors & original type conduit). so everything works as it should. It has the complete chain oiling system (including the pump, NOS). It has all new NOS cables, tires, chain, sprockets, airbox, complete exhaust system, spokes, rims, etc. All work was done by an experienced restorer with over 100 complete restorations done. This bike starts & runs great and would be a great addition to any collection. The bike has NO gas in it and NO battery as is stored in my office, also NO mirrors are installed or included.
This bike has correct No rib carbs, the head has built in Vacuum ports, correct NOS carb mounts, correct early front fork lowers with bulges, original 5/8" master cylinder with original dual disk calipers, Extremely RARE large rear Euro mud guard and special tail light bracket, Euro NON folding foot pegs, metal plug caps, no reflectors on fork tubes or rear shocks, Euro seat with strap, original Key fob and original owners manual (printed in 1972), original tool kit with feeler gauge!New Dunlop Gold Seal tires, OEM rims re-chromed with stamps, All cables NOS, headlight NOS, voltage regulator NOS, 2nd gear, 4th gear and top gear all NOS, oil pump NOS, Tail light lens NOS, carb holders RARE and NOS., NOS hand grips, small chain adjusters, early cylinder stamping, 20 above and straight 7 on gauges rebuilt by Robert Harrington, Pipes are repro., no bands early type and body set is from JAPAN, beautiful!!I have receipts for all NOS mentioned above, included.
