Description
A very honest, matching numbers, Indian 741 for sale.
Sympathetically restored. This Indian 741 is one of the first batch of 741's made before the 741B came into production. All of the engine, carb and frame numbers match. This bike was sent to the UK as part of the lend/lease program in WW2. It was later sold by a London motorcycle dealer, and it comes with it's original buff book. This bike is ready to ride away with no faults. A very original bike that will not disappoint - no reproduction parts. A great investment that will bring smiles everywhere!
Note that this bike has been set up like a 40s Harley to ride but it wouldn't take much to switch everything back - currently the gear lever has been switched to the left side making it easier to ride if your are used to standard bikes.
Please contact me for more information. Happy for you to come and view. Can send you a video of a cold start or even myself riding it. Also Happy to give some practise time to get used to the way it rides... which is perfect if you ask me!
Cash on collection.
Added some more pictures showing the carb no., frame no. and engine no. As you can see, they all match up :-) Any other questions, videos, etc., please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks for all the interest.
