Description
Offered for sale is my well sorted and immaculate Triumph T120R. Manufactured 12th January 1970, comes with Triumph Dating Certificate.
Matching frame and engine numbers. Completely restored around 2014 and now preserved in beautiful condition.
The nut and bolt restoration included many new or refurbished parts as well as a complete engine and gearbox rebuild. Front forks and rear swing arm pivot have also been rebuilt with new components. Reconditioned clocks show mileage from restoration which is currently at 1400 miles. At present the bike wants for absolutely nothing, it is immaculate and is only ridden when the sun is out and the roads are dry. It is run on premium fuel and uses classic non-detergent oils, correct grades for engine, gearbox and primary chaincase. It is NOT a daily runabout, spending most of it's time in the house.
The only change from original is an upgrade to Boyer Bransden electronic ignition, and the use of plastic cable ties. It has many new Original Equipment Manufacturer and UK made parts, far too many to list. Replacement engine parts or cast/machined parts are L F Harris wherever available. It has retained a lot of its original parts which have been kept in, or returned to, excellent condition.
New Astral Red and Silver paintwork and lots of gorgeous chrome.
Easy starter, runs and rides like a dream, it's an absolute joy to take out. Handles and stops superbly, just as they did, but I am now too old to enjoy it as I used to. I am asking a sensible price for a great future investment.
Tax and MOT exempt.
