1970 BSA A65 Thunderbolt

This is a beautiful, A65 Thunderbolt that I purchased from the Original Owner in California approx. (5) x years ago. It came with original (Period Correct) BATES saddle bags that I had Big D Cycles in Dallas fabricate an easily removable mount for. This mounting system can be removed in about 10 minutes. It is an excellent design for these bags - one can fit a case of Lone Star beer in each saddlebag (just to give you an idea of size). Big D Cycles also rebuilt the motor (including gearbox) and it now has 208 miles on it. Motorcycle has new tires and all original LUCAS reflectors, electrics, headlight glass, etc. It is still running perfectly on points and needs no tune up or maintenance. It is ready to ride. 100%. The wiring loom is not 'hacked' into and retains all its original tape and British bullet connections. Everything on this bike is working perfectly. Clutch is also new (when the rebuild was completed). Charging system is strong and proper (as it was also replaced). Bike needs nothing (except a person that will ride her more often than myself). Also included in the sale is a ton of extra BSA parts that I have (extra gearbox bits, fuel petcocks, headlights Shell, Valve cover, gasket set, etc). Title is a Texas title and clean.
