Description
BSA 500cc DB34 GOLDSTAR
This is a very rare opportunity to buy an unrestored Gold Star that was last used in the 60's.It was first registered by the selling dealer on 13th October 1955 by Jenkin & Purser Ltd, 349-353 Shirley Road, Southampton Hampshire. It was sold to the first owner on 28th January 1956, 2nd Owner 25th July 1960 and 3rd Owner 4th December 1961. I am the 4th registered private owner and the bike comes with a V5C, old V5 and original buff logbook (as pictured).
The Engine and Frame numbers are as they should be from the BSA factory and matched by all the documentation. As shown, this motorcycle is typical of the bikes of the 1960's 'Mods and Rockers' era and only show's 9704 miles on the clock. It was built as a tourer and not a Clubmans model. The DB models were only built for a short period before being updated to the DBD models, making these models more scarce. It has a standard gear box as fitted by BSA, an optional "Craven" rack that can take panniers as per the era. All the engine case assembly is loosely installed to the frame and has no internals except for the cylinder head which is 100% complete showing the attached original carburettor.

The bike comes with a New original (as boxed) standard barrel liner made of the correct austenitic steel. Also a box of odds n sods.
