1942 BSA WM 20 WWll

This 1942 BSA WM 20 WWll is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years.

1942 BSA WWll WM20 British military motorcycle. Frame off restoration by owner. All components glass bead blasted, refurbished and painted in original shade of green. Included in sale are over 150 photos of restoration in progress with notes on reassembly.
Complete new exhaust system, new seat, new Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires, period correct heavy canvas panniers, canvas grips and much more.
Most restoration parts sourced from Dragonfly in Bungay, UK. Comes with the blackout headlight pictured and original standard headlight, take note of the cigarette style tail light. In addition to the rear and front stands the bike is equipped with the field side stand. Included is a reproduction Vokes tank mounted air filter, not installed. Three gallon fuel tank is unsealed and clean inside.
Engine was overhauled in 11/52 by the British Ministery of Supply, id plate inside tool box lid, with 1/2 inch overbore, tag on cylinder base stud.
Now has 3424 miles on the clock. Correct numbers on fuel tank. The single cylinder, side valve, 4 stroke engine starts easily and runs strong without any smoke or extraneous noises.
Four speed transmission and clutch both work as they should. The engine is rated at 13 hp at 4200 rpm giving a top speed of about 65 mph and a cruising speed of 45-50 mph.
All wiring is intact but I never got around to hooking up the generator and lights.
