Much money spent rode well comfortable just needs a bit of sorting much money has been spent and would not need a great deal to get it up and running smoothly as it did. I am a engineer but just lack the time plus too many projects rather be riding these days”

Description
Here we have a nice old Sunbeam S8 gentlemans motorcycle just needs timing sorting and a bit of electrickery. Registered as sfm457 in 1953 sadly now on age related plate. I have had this bike 9 years and having too many bikes and projects some must go. I have had good fun on this bike. I bought the bike of a guy who had restored it, new pistons, cam, powder coated frame etc. After a while the distributor played up I have built up one with a new body just needs bob weights, but i have fitted a electrix world batteryless generator and ignition i have had it running needs a correct bolt in crank and timing i just have to many projects on to finish. This bike in slightly ace cafe theme always draws a crowd at bike meets even had people lying on the floor taking pictures. It was ridden through the 60s and early 70s by the reverend john beauchamp gordon of the rectory whitchurch shropshire further research could be of benefit. Also with bike is a 12v stewart engineering alternator conversion and 6v dynamo so choice is yours all these parts are very valuable. And i could sell them for a fair bit but are included in sale of bike. Nice file of parts bought and manual included. Viewing is recomended and welcome. Forgot nice shiny rebuilt wheels by central wheels stainless spokes that's saving a few quid. Please note bikes not concourse has a few chips and scratchs and blisters here and there but your choice patena or repaint i think it looks ok for nearly 70 maybe fairing better than me. Both new log book and old green log book with bike rare these days so a bonus.
