1979 Honda CBX1000 classic vintage motorbike barn find

Hi and welcome to the sale of my 1979 Honda CBX1000.
The bike is MOT and Tax exempt
Full V5 log book in my name.
The bike is in exceptional condition for a 43 year old bike that has never been restored.A quick wipe round with pollish keeps it looking well.
All the electrics and lights work including those on the dash.
The bike starts, rides through all the gears and stops as it should.
Before I was given the opportunity to purchase the bike Ive known of its existence for approximately 15 years (at the very least) where it had been sat in a garage local to me having not turned a wheel but allegedly fired up every now and then during that time.
Fitted with rare rear luggage rack/grab rail
The only negative points are that the right hand side exhaust has a dent right at the end of the pipe and a slight scuff just below it which can be seen in the pictures, this was believed to have been done when trying to get between two narrow bollards, there are no other signs that the bike has been down the road on its side, I guess that this would repair or a new set of exhausts could be purchased (there's a set on eBay now) and it needs a left hand side passenger foot peg, also readily available on eBay.
I can't guarantee the mileage but I don't doubt that it is correct of just over 26k miles.
The bike as already stated is 43 year old, so as tidy as it is please remember that it's not mint, concourse and isn't on par with something brand new still in the showroom.
New coils, ht lead, plug caps and plugs fitted, I do have the original coils
The bike is running in the pictures and was fired up after been stood a fortnight and was brought outside into the cold for some pictures.
A fantastic opportunity to buy an iconic Japanese classic that will only appreciate in value.
