Honda CBX1000 1979

This is my 1979 Honda CBX, the bike has been serviced including shims, carb clean and balance and new clutch palates and springs. It has the benefit of Hagon progressive springs and preload adjusters to stop the front end dive under braking, coupled with the Hagon rear shocks, this bike now handles great, to top it off it has the latest Bridgestone BT46 tyres, modern compound but in the correct size. The bike was painted in Candy Apple Red by South West Kustom and so is a little darker than the original but looks amazing and really looks stunning in the sunlight. The exhaust system is Delkevic 6 into 2 into 1 headers with an SP Engineering silencer. It sounds fantastic whilst not too loud, you can always remove the inner baffle tube if you want it louder!! The bike is currently in the showroom at Somerset Classic Motorcycles where I work but it's time to sell and I have bills to pay! It's not my only bike so reluctantly it's time to move on.
