Velocette Thruxton 500cc 1966

Velocette Thruxton, first registered 29/06/1966, Frame number RS186**. Engine number VMT19*.

Owned for aprox. the last 40 years by a former Velo club member, recently deceased. A well known bike in the past, many events attended and awards but unused for several years due to ill health. Will require light recomissioning.

Fitted with correct Mk2 GP carb, alloy rims, twin leading shoe front brake, Quaife 5 speed cluster, Electronic ignition and Criterion 12v alternator. Custom made alloy petrol tank and seat unit.

Original seat, petrol tank, magneto and dynamo included in sale along with a quantity of miscellaneous spares including clutch and gears spares... A used and well maintained bike awaiting recommissioning and future use.

Located in West Yorkshire Emley/Huddersfield area.

I have added a few photos of the spares, original tank and seat and Dunlop alloy flanged rims. I have also confirmed with the Velo Register that the frame and engine are a matched pair as left the factory.
