1942 Indian Scout 741

1942 Indian Scout 741.
I bought this bike years ago from a guy in San Diego that was shutting down his motorcycle shop. He had bought it years before right here on eBay from a guy in Florida and had it shipped to him here. He had it running, but I bought it and it went straight into storage with my other bikes. It then moved into my living room where it has lived for years. The 1942 California license plate on the bike was placed on it by the previous owner, but was not registered to the bike. Left hand throttle, right hand ignition timing, left foot clutch, right foot rear brake and right hand shift just like it left the factory over 80 years ago. There are some broken fins on the cylinder heads and the seat needs the leather and padding recovered. The exhaust looks new. The wheels look like they've been replaced with stainless steel spokes. Tires excellent. Engine kicks over freely and has compression.
