Description
This beautiful Triton project bike needs someone to develop its future (and its true value). Very Rare 1953 Triton - matched with even rarer 1953 T100c 500c race engine. I'm clearing some bikes, and as much as I love this beautiful bike it will now need someone else to take care of her/him(!). Wideline frame, Norton wheels, forks & gearbox. Fiberglass tank, 19” alloy rims. Triton wideline frame is 1953. The Triumph 500C race engine was only produced for 1 year in 1953 as a high performance engine. Alloy multi-slim-fin barrel and alloy head. Claimed to produce only 4hp less than a 650, lighter, and revved quicker - noted as the “… ideal Triton match”. Everything about this bike is very rare. The plan was to replace all bearings, clean, scrub, and new piston kit. 1 small break on barrel fin (missing piece on RHS) It is a project, and most parts are there (all identified in pics, and note pistons currently removed from con-rods), needs clutch and electrics and a range of small stuff, bolts etc. Pictures tell the story. Bike is listed ‘as is'. Based in Canberra. Can assist with your freight/ carrier logistics.
