Description
Here you go folks, this is a real nice 1959 BMW R69 with the trimmings.
This bike is a real nice runner. The more you run, it the more it likes it. It could be an every day runner. As you can see by the pictures, it's pretty fully loaded with an Avon fairing, teardrop saddle bags, blinkers on the handlebars, oversized six gallon tank, sidecar capable, hand pump, extra Corbin seat, bread loaf rack, extra cable, brand new battery, extra blinkers covers, even a couple quarts of oil.
Check pics of work orders. Bike was pretty much rebuilt at 64,840 miles. Double checked at 65,624 miles.
The bike is at 72,280 miles now (oil has been changed faithfully every 1500 to 2000 miles since), which is less than 8000 since rebuilt. It's barely broke in. The work was done by Bob Clement of Bob's Motorwerks. Bob is one of the countries foremost vintage BMW mechanics.
The bike has nicks and dings through out, but still looks great as is. It could be a great choice for a complete restoration as well. Personal If I wasn't so old, I'd leave it as is and run the heck out of it.
