1973 Norton Commando 850cc Roadster

Hello and welcome to my 1973 Norton commando 850cc Roadster. The bike has lived in Texas USA for forty years and had been in storage for all most thirty years. It came to the UK last year. walking round the bike. The chrome work is original. The wheels are very good the exhaust silencers and chain guard are showing some signs of ageing but more than acceptable. The tyres are very good.
The black paint work on the frame is original and is showing signs of ageing and has been touched up in places. The paint work on the tank and side panels is very nice. The handle bars and seat are new as is the battery. It is missing the indicators grab rail and centre stand.
The engine has had a single carb conversion. The engine starts easily and sounds very good with no smoke or rattles. Clutch gears brakes are all fine.
The bike past its MOT with out any problems. and is taxed and the V5C is in my name. The engine number is 301961 and the frame number is 301961. The mileage is showing 23362 but I can't guarantee that. in all a very nice bike.
