Description
BSA BB32 Gold Star Replica Scrambler 1955, 350cc
Raced by Bob Dickenson of Cumbria in pre-65 Trials, this is a very well-sorted, road-registered machine. It features a modified B31 frame, a new Lyta tank, and long Norton Road Holder forks with double-damped Commando inners. The Matchless front wheel has been modified to take 7-inch BSA shoes, and the bike also has a period central alloy oil tank.
The bike comes with a standard gearbox and a Norton clutch, 19-tooth gearbox sprocket, and new rear drum. The engine is race-prepared with a lightened and balanced B31 bottom end, B31 crankcases, and an early Lucas competition magneto. It also has a Gold Star alloy barrel and head.
All in all, this is a light, powerful, on-and-off-road classic that is a great bit of fun and a solid investment.
Part exchange welcome.
