1957 Harley-Davidson FLH

Here is a hard to find original Panhead. Nice unmolested 57FLH2935 VIN with matching 157 2761 belly numbers. The optional Midnight Blue/Birch White original paint still shows nicely. I have not done any extensive clean up or detailing in the time I've owned the bike.
I purchased this from the original owner in 2004. I had the motor and transmission professionally rebuilt shortly after that and added Firestone tires from Coker. The bike starts easily and is in good riding condition. I have 3 bikes and rarely ride this one, so it sees limited use. I rode it from Peoria to the Davenport meet in 2007 and had it judged. It scored 99 points and was awarded a Junior First. I've never had it judged since. The bike is missing the original spot lamps that I assume came on it as the factory switch is still in place. I believe the upper windshield was replaced at some point, and there is a small crack in the lower LH corner of it as shown in the pictures. This is not a fire sale, and I don't need to sell the bike. You know how hard these honest old bikes are to find these days, so don't miss your opportunity on this one. I think the pictures speak for themselves, but e-mail if you have questions or need additional photos. Bike is sold as is, so my preference would be for the buyer or their representative to look the bike over and draw your own conclusions regarding originality and condition. Balance by wire transfer, bank draft or cash upon pick up. Bike will not leave until payment has cleared, which can take 7-10 business days for bank drafts. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs and arrangements. You are welcome to come by and inspect the bike. Just e-mail me to make arrangements. Also, the title will have your name on it before bike leaves my property. And finally, I will not falsify the sale price so that the buyer can avoid taxes or customs charges, so please don't ask.
