This motorcycle will come complete with a logbook registered in my name with an age-related numberplate. The motorcycle benefits from being MOT and TAX exempt as a historic vehicle.This motorcycle has matching numbers on the frame and engine and has a dating certificate from the Norton owners club.This classic motorcycle is an ongoing project with a lot of the hard work already done.I will try to list the main items that have been done so far, gearbox, totally rebuilt with new main shaft and bearings and fully shimmed.Engine has been fully rebuilt by Mike Pemberton, a world-renowned Norton single cylinder expert. I have had the engine running and it sounds great.The engine boasts an Ally barrel and cylinder head.The engine also benefits from a brand-new Amal Carb. This is a pre-mono block and he is correct for the period.The oil tank is a Manx Norton horseshoe tank.The rear wheel has been refurbished with stainless steel spokes and powder coating to the rim and centre hub. The rear plungers have new springs and have been polished and refurbished, The rear sprocket/drum is also new.Front and rear tyres including inner tubes are new.Norton bolt through tank in aluminium, this item was one of a batch that Norton George had made.Thousands of £ spent, grab yourself a rare and unusual project.I do have more parts and spares which can be included with the sale, they can be discussed upon depending upon your needs.Very sad to see this project go but I no longer have the time to see this through to completion.Cash on Collection or bank transfer only thanks.
