Norton ES2 1948

I'm selling my Norton ES2 which has been family owned since 1978 and is in good original condition with original registration number MPJ 75. My brother originally owned it and used it daily transport for a number of years. Since I've owned it it's always been taxed and insured but only used occasionally in fine weather. It has a tap on the oil tank to prevent wet sumping.
The magneto has been reconditioned and the carburettor re-sleeved.
Although it rides nicely and sounds great it has recently started to smoke a little from the exhaust, possibly a valve guide problem? It could probably benefit from a recommissioning service and a little fettling due to lack of recent use. The front brake cable outer is frayed so needs replacing. The chrome is all good, the paintwork reasonable the only surface rust being on the rear mudguard as shown in the photos. I have a sheaf of old MOT's, tax discs and invoices and receipts. There's also a Bruce Main-Smith maintenance manual (authorized photocopy). Viewing possible in Worthing, West Sussex.
