1948 Indian Chief original

Here for sale is a original 1948 Indian Chief, I purchased it with the intent of fully restoring it to 100% period correct. Unfortunately the man who was going to restore it which has done several motorcycles in the past is no longer doing them. I purchased it from a gentleman who got it from the original owner which purchased it new in 1948, it comes will all the original documentation from which when it was purchased.
As far as I know the tins have been primered, and the frame has been taken down cleaned painted and reassembled, the engine only had the cylinders pulled off and pistons removed will need new ones to to reassemble.
Everything is included along with the parts that have been removed and are not on the motorcycle, also have numerous pictures of the bike when it was purchased from the original owner and the current state and condition when it was found.
