1970 BSA 650 Lightning, Red

This is a very nice BSA 650 Lightning.
I have owned the bike for over twenty years. In 2018 Kevin from PT Customs (a well know Midwest British bike expert) rebuilt the motor. Since that time I have put about 300 miles on the bike, health issues force sale. The bike has a Michigan title and is a numbers matching bike. Please keep in mind that this is a 52 year old bike and is not new, the chrome is original and does show it's age, the seat is a very nice reproduction but does have a few small tears along the metal trim. The paint was redone in 2018 and looks good. Bike also comes with some extra items including an original hard to find owners manual plus many reference books. There is also a new set of British handle bars with a little different shape, the set on the bike are the originals and are in great shape. Everything works as it should and the bike has just had fluid service done by PT Customs last week. The only things not quite right is that the speedometer does bounce around a little bit when running and the knob for resetting the trip meter is missing (the trip meter does record miles). As far as the millage is concerned the shown may be correct but I am not certain. I can help with shipping.
