Description
I obtained this bike in a bunch of boxes in trade for some welding. Over one of the covid winters I assembled most of the bits. It appears to be a project that was started and never finished. Some parts are rechromed such as the controls and the exhaust. I believe the bike must have blown the bottom end because the motor and frame numbers don't match. I have the original matching cases and all the transmission bits. It had one cylinder and the head. I didn't take apart the lower end of the replacement motor, the connecting rod felt fine and all the gears seemed to work. I honed the cylinder, lapped the valves and put it all together except the oil pump hook up. Spring came and I had to move on with other things. This is where I left off. My goal was to get it started and checkout everything before I put too much into it. I did put new tires on it. It needs the generator rotor replaced. Local pickup in Vermont. Sold with bill of sale only. I never registered it.
