1930 Harley-Davidson

Up for sale is an incredible opportunity to own an ultra rare piece of real 1930 Harley-Davidson racing history. Harley Davidson DLs were only made for 3 years starting in 1929. It is a board tracker that has been raced and then put on display but still has much more fire to breath and fuel to burn! It is in pristine shape as you can tell in the pictures. It is still direct drive / push start, same way they did it back in the '20 and early '30s before the super dangerous sport of board track racing was outlawed in 1932.

It has very good compression, has great spark (I just replaced the points). It has a brand new 6volt battery. I just checked and confirmed valve lash. New tires have been put on just before it went on display here. I truly believe some fresh gas and 2 guys (one guy pushing, the other guy piloting) and it would fire off with ease.
This is a super clean machine, perfect to keep on display or bring to the local Motordome race tracks around the states and run with Billy Lane and the Sons of Speed crew!
