Suzuki GT750A, 1976 in very good (great) condition

For sale is my GT750A which I have owned for the last 26 years.
I never thought I would sell this bike but as I got older and my wife will no longer join me on it, it has been parked up for a few years. Which is a shame as it's a lovely thing to ride. So I have come to the opinion that it needs to go to someone who will ride, enjoy and have the same pleasure owning it as I have.
I originally put it up for sale last year. But because I was extremely honest and quoted that it may need a rebore in the future due to the fact it had a slight tinkle on the right hand pot when cold and after over a 600 views and at least 30+ e-mails asking about the tinkle, had the seals been done recently, where could you get it done, how much would it cost and so on and so fourth. I removed the listing and decided to sort the issue out myself.
As the engine was coming out to have the rebore I thought I may as well go the whole hog and have the seals done at the same time. So £2500 later, see last picture, the engine has now been re-bored with new pistons, rings & small ends the crank has be rebuilt with new seals, the cases have been vapour blasted, all the bearings have been replaced, the oil lines have been renewed and new clutch plates fitted. The head bolts have all been replaced with polished S/Steel. This engine is now new, if not better than new and will need to be run-in just as it would when it came out from the factory. The firm quoted 1000 mile or 3 months warranty, however that will be only two months now after the time it's taken me to put back together, advertise here and you collect.
The bike was striped several years ago back to it nuts and bolts by myself.The black work and frame were all powder coated by Griff's in Bristol which is one of the best. It does not chip.The chrome work was done in by S&T in Yate. Very, very expensive as they copper coat before chroming, but gives a lovely finish.The Carbs tops and tie bar have been chromed as has many of the original bolts.Suzuki parts were used as first choice, however where bolts not worth re-chroming due condition or could not be cleaned, Polished s/steel have been used.
I have loved owning this bike and have great memories of riding it all over the country, so I would really like it to go to someone who wants to do the same.
The only thing which still bugs me with it is after its been stood for a few days it does not like to start on the button, but will on first kick and afterwards starts every time on the button.
