Classic Vintage 1948 Royal Enfield CO350 Black Beautiful Bike Girder Forks

Here is a quite beautiful Royal Enfield CO350 motorcycle finished in black. This bike has been restored to a terrific standard. certainly show quality. It was first registered in 1948. however. as I understand it. this was a popular position with these where a London based dealer converted war department machines to road use. I have not verified the history.

Please take a look at the photos. it really is as clean as it looks with as-new AVON Mk 2 tyres. The Smiths clock shows 5371 miles but again. cannot be verified. It starts and runs beautifully on 3rd kick once you have the knack of the advance/retard and choke :-) It was MOT'd up until May. but I did not re-apply for an MOT as this is not required due to recent rule changes. It is Taxed until April and is free in any case. It has a 3 letter. 3 number plate which may or may not be transferable. I have not checked. The bike also comes with a pillion pad which fixes to the rear mudguard.

Anyway. since owning. I have not been out on the road. it runs. selects gears etc. and no reason why it could not be ridden.

The bike is fitted with Girder Forks which also look terrific. and has front and rear lights running off a 6 volt battery. I am no expert on these bikes. I bought it simply to admire. Should you have any questions. please let me know.
