Description
Here we have for sale a very rare BSA Victor GP Scrambler.
I believe these were manufactured 1966/67. It was a production model based on Jeff Smith's world championship winning bike.
The bike is almost complete. t has the hard to find airbox and seat base. lloy tank with the nylon filler bung. he correct front brake plate with sliding fulcrum cam spindle boss.
The front rim is 20" and the rear wheel s QD with removeable rear sprocket brake drum.
The engine is not original. eing early B40 crankcases converted to later end feed crank oiling and Tig Perry type magneto drive. (Mag is NOT included in the sale as it didn't come with the bike when i purchased it)
The frame. winging arm and other fittings are period chrome plated. Some of the plating has lifted in certain areas.
The oil header tank which sits under the air box has been removed at some point in the past and been cut open then rewelded/braized. hen refitted with bolt on brackets.
The seat base is in poor condition but could be repaired or used as a pattern for a replacement.
It has the correct shuttle valve forks and yokes although the original top shrouds are missing. Exhaust pipe is also missing.
I. asking £2750 for the bike as shown in the photos. I have an early round barrel 441 victor engine available by separate negotiation to the purchaser of this machine.
I would recommend that you view the item before buying.
