Honda CBX 1000 - Classic - only 12000 miles

It is with a heavy heart I'm selling this historic classic by Honda.
Being self employed, and in the present situation, I find myself in need of the money. The Honda CBX 1000 derives from Mike Hailwoods 250 six cylinder GP bike, and has remained one of Honda's classics since.
This particular one is a very good original example, with only 12307 miles registered. It is mechanically sound, and has been lovingly restored to the point it is now. New chain, new tyres on replaced original wheel rims, carbs balanced and tuned by "Mr CBX", an enthusiastic specialist mechanic. The regulator has been replaced, however there is an intermittent electrical drain. (This could be due to nearly 40 years of wiring ware). I can't spend any more on the restoration, and in my opinion, the only work needed which will incur minor costs are to replace the saddle with original, (about £150 from David Silver Spares), front black indicators, (+/- £35 on DS Spares), and some plastic welding on the left side cover. The lug has become brittle and broken off.
Please no "tyre kickers", this is a genuine bike for a genuine enthusiast. The price is fair, and in different circumstances I would be asking for a lot more. At present, the bike is SORN, but to the successful purchaser, I will Tax and MOT it. As of 08/2021 this bike will be tax exempt.
