Velocette 1955 500cc

1955 Velocette 500cc.
First registered 02/08/1955, up to date V5 in my name also have the blue V5 and the original buff log books.
Chassis number RS7152. Engine number MSS17533.
This motorcycle is still on its original registration number and it is transferable. The engine has the alloy barrel and 2 valve cylinder head. Engine sounds nice and is very responsive.
This machine is not a show winner but it looks good. The chrome work on the front wheel and silencer is usable but showing signs of age, but when you're over 60 these things happen - so I'm told by my wife!
The bike is advertised elsewhere.
I will fit a new battery. I have changed the oil, filter, fuel taps and pipes. The engine doesn't wet sump and the oil return is good.
