Norton 1951 500cc OHV ES2

1951 Norton 500cc ES2.
Just taken in this week, this ES2 Norton has been restored a couple of years ago.
First registered 01/10/1951. Original transferable reg number XMD979 with new and old style log books.
Very nice original condition, runs and rides very well, starts easily with a sweet engine.
At some point in its life, this bike had the engine changed, but the last owner managed to purchase the original crankcases in excellent condition. These will go with the bike, so anyone in the future could fit them to make it an all-matching bike, etc.
As most people know, good OHV 500 Nortons are getting hard to find, and this is a cracker.
