Norton 600cc Big 4 1950

Norton 600cc Big 4 1950 side valve Fabulous Classic British Motorcycle and getting increasingly harder to find like this. Not restored but in a lovely used original condition. Matching Engine and Frame V5 in my name. She starts, stops and runs lovely everything works as it should and MOT is not a requirement on this age of motorcycle with road Tax exempt also. The wheels though not original have been replaced by superb ally Borrani rims also with an upgraded duel brake hub on the front. I have been reliably informed that the bike frame has the lugs to attach a side car. but I can't guarantee this as I have never before put together a combination. She is fun to ride and gets a great deal of attention from everybody and I will probably regret selling it but alas new projects have taken over. The Norton big 4 is an honest machine built from WW2 requirements mainly side cars loaded with Bren guns/ammunition and supplies thus making it powerful in pulling but slow top end speed. She is 65 years old and as such I don't expect her to do many long distances now and will drop a bit of oil as they do but enjoy the very fact of owning one. I see these now increasingly becoming more as Art and have seen many of these in homes and motorcycle clothing fashion stores. These are like gilts and bonds they keep steadily going up in desire and value.
