1951 Norton Big 4, Classic Vintage Motorcycle

Welcome to the listing of my wonderful Norton Big Four. This is a reluctant sale, but a new project forces sale.
To be honest, the photos make her finish look a bit better than she really is. However, that's the beauty of this particular Big 4. This is an oily rag, unrestored machine that hasn't been messed about with. An easy starter, once she fires, she settles down to a rhythmic tickover and then you can play with the levers to get her down to and unbelievably low idle that defies science!
Included is the original number plate, the original RF.60 logbook, a Norton Owners Club Factory Record, showing that this is a matching numbers bike throughout and some old tax discs, complete with the original Avon fairing and Burgess silencer. Most would agree, that this a rare survivor both in terms of being nearly 72 years old, but has also evaded, so far, the number plate thieves and the restorers. A truly rare specimen!
Please bear in mind the bike is in Prestwick, Scotland. I'm aware of the time of year, but I would a appreciate a collection within a few days of the sale ending as space is at a premium.
