1941 Royal Enfield wdc

Royal Enfield WD/C, Supplied new to the war office in 23rd April 1941 (See photo of Certificate). Engine is the overhead valve variant, which I believe was replaced by the WD/CO in 1942. Condition is best described as oily rag. The bike was restored in 2013 and numerous receipts are present which show the engine was rebuilt. The frame and tank have been hand painted to a low standard. This is a ride or restore, although I like the oily rag look. Starts and rides well, it is regularly taken for a spin around town and always generates lots of interest. I bought the bike from Andy Tiernan classics in 2018, and have a V5C in my name. No MOT or road tax required due to being registered as a Classic vehicle.
