The 1927 Triumph Model N was a logical progression from the very successful, best selling, Model P.

The same robust engine was used with the addition of an internal semi-automatic oil pump, along with the later type of the Model P gearbox.

These were fitted in an updated frame, with Webb single spring forks, and a proper drum brake rear hub replaced the long-used dummy belt- rim brake. Making an altogether most pleasing and practical motorcycle.
